Today started out as more of yesterday. General sadness. But then I saw today's press conference from our governor where he and the state health commissioner laid out their four stage plan for reopening, complete with some of the details will be necessary to move from this first stage to the second. Newsom was clear to say, too, that they are doing what's right for the state based on science, and they won't capitulate to politics or protests. That helps ease some of my load.

I did manage to finish a short galley this morning, though. And then this afternoon, I got into the pool with the kids. The water was a bit on the cold side still, but it was really fun after a little bit. I would've stayed in much longer than I did if my reflux hadn't kicked in big time after lunch. It's still very uncomfortable right now. I'm going to start a Prilosec course in the morning. I'm being too easily triggered these days.

Craig and I have started a James Bond marathon. I had gotten him the complete collection on blu-ray, so we figured now was as good a time as any to watch them. I have to admit, I've never seen most of the Bond films from the 60s and 70s, only the occasional scene here and there. Last night was Dr. No, and tonight, From Russia with Love. I knew most of the tropes, of course, but damn, Bond really is a kinky slut in the second movie.
