Mondays still kind of suck, don't they?

Our weather has been very schizo the past couple days. Yesterday, it was bright and beautiful, and I felt great, so we spent an hour putting together and laying the flooring we got for outside our back door. It's a flexible plastic, and we had a 9'x 9' patch to do. The pieces clipped in three on a side, so lots of bending and pushing. By the time we were done, I discovered I had broken a bunch of blood vessels on my palms from how hard I was pressing. Craig has a dime-sized blister on his thumb from it. The flooring looks great, though, lol.

Today, it was overcast and dreary, and my reflux was really bad. My chest is tight and burning, which of course starts my brain going off in bad directions because yay, I had a few heart palpitations, too. But I'm late, which means my hormones are doing the wacky, so that's to be expected. Stupid body falling apart. Anxiety certainly doesn't help.

What does help is lots of talking with friends. And cake. Craig decided he wanted cake. Specifically, Nothing Bundt Cakes. But I couldn't order online and have it for today, so Alex and I went out and bought too many of them. Still. Delicious.
