Onward became available on Disney+ today, so we watched it tonight. Non-spoilery reaction: I really liked it.

I had a feeling it was going to be big on the sibling love when my baby sister texted me and our other sister to cry and tell us how much she loves us. But even with that, I was a little surprised at how misty I got at the end. Ian's gift to Barley really got to me, especially considering all the people who are losing loved ones and can't say goodbye to them right now.

Plus, it was so much funnier than I anticipated. I might've laughed at every other line that came out of Barley's mouth. And the entire section where he was shrunk was delightful. I haven't laughed like that and still been moved at the ending in a while.

In short, I really needed to see this tonight. It was definitely worth our time.
