Our county (and others in the Bay Area) has put out the call that we need to wear cloth masks in public. I imagine the CDC is going to be doing the same in the next couple days, but I can't say I'm surprised we've been told first. They don't want anyone to wear something that could be donated to a hospital, and things like bandanas and scarves are okay. That's probably the route we're going to go. There is no shortage of bandanas in this house. Don't ask why, lol.

My fruit trees are budding like crazy. The orange and grapefruit are drowning in blossoms, the apricot has a ton of blushing fruit, and even the plum trees are starting to show fruit. I already decided that I'm going to can plums this year. Our abundance last year was all I needed to know we couldn't eat them all in time. And with the lockdown, giving them away isn't nearly as easy. So canning it will be.

Alicia has been wanting us to foster a dog since the shelters can't do adoptions as easily, but the more I look, the more I wonder if I could even do that. I'd want to adopt. We even found two tonight that would be perfect matches for us. We sent the links to Craig, but he hasn't emerged from his office yet to tell us that we're crazy. Who knows what will happen at this point.

Other than that, I meant to be productive today, but my motivation - or lack thereof - had other ideas. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
