The body is not cooperating fully

I had my mammogram last Friday, but I have to do a follow-up this Friday because they don't like my left breast. They didn't like it last time, either, but I'm not that worried. Lumpy breasts run in the family. So do cysts. Of course, so does breast cancer, but I'm still not too fussed about it. Less than 10% of women who get called back have an actual problem.

I picked up my new glasses with my new prescription yesterday. This adjustment period is not going to be fun. It was a day of headaches and fishbowl effects. I'm a little worried that the fact that my doctor adjusted the focal length to slightly closer, since I'm looking so closely at so many books, will be a problem. It was today. Shelves I could see before are now blurry. Fingers crossed that it's just part of the adjustment process, but if it's not, I'll have to go back in.

DST is kicking my butt. I haven't been able to sleep in past 5am yet, in spite of going to bed at my usual time. The only advantage is that I had time this morning before work to finish a galley that was due today. Fingers crossed tomorrow morning I can at least make it to 6am.
