Whew...

It's official. The house is sold. The people who put an offer in on ours sold theirs over the weekend to people who are currently renting, so there is no chain for us to worry about. Plus, they're looking to move in quickly so we're looking at everything being done with the sale in 6 to 8 weeks.

We also figured out some more of the details of the move's timing this weekend. Craig is going to the US for the week of the 19th, but then he's coming back and the pair of us are going over after May 15th on our own, while the kids stay with his parents. Then, the week of June 7th, we'll fly back to the UK for the kids and his Nan's 90th birthday (which he'd been trying to figure out how not to miss in all this hullabaloo). Whether or not his parents accompany us when we return to California at that point, I have no idea. I don't think they know either, but it's such a relief to just *know* the gist of it.
