Who knew it could be so easy?

I made granola for the first time today, using a recipe from my Thug Kitchen cookbook, and let me tell you, I am never buying granola again. It was sooooo easy, and sweetened only by pure maple syrup, with cinnamon and vanilla to help with the flavoring. I can control what goes into it, customize as I see fit, and it tastes *wonderful*. I won't eat too much of it, to be honest, mostly because it's so good I won't be able to stop. I made it mostly for the kids to have as an alternative for breakfast and quick snacks.

I'm going to be doing some baking in the next couple weeks, though, which will be a test. I'm making stuff for the high school band's first performance, so the trick will be not to eat all the goodies myself. Craig seems to think it'll satisfy that part of me that's been missing spending time in the kitchen, but he has greater faith in my willpower than I do, lol.
