The fun doesn't stop there. Tomorrow, I'm getting a tooth pulled. On Tuesday, bright and early, I leave for NC to visit my sister for a week. School starts a little over a week after the kids get home. And in the midst of all that, I have a buttload of writing to get done.
Alex had an accident his first morning there. Monday was our tourist day, and Craig and I were at Pike Place Market that morning when I got a call from the university. On the rec break between morning class sessions, Alex took a frisbee to the side of his head that split his ear open. They said it was borderline on how serious it could be, so we agreed they'd take him to the ER. There, they glued it shut and sent him back to school. Alicia says it looks gross. The picture he sent doesn't make it look that bad. Is it bad that I'm kind of happy that if he was going to get a minor injury, it was doing something mildly physical instead of spraining his wrist on a mouse or something like that, lol? Plus, he's making friends. It's all good.
One plus to all that time in the car was I got a lot of reading done. I'm going to update my books list tomorrow. I even really liked a few I read in this lot.
I have Humans recorded, though I haven't watched it yet. I'm not sure if I'll get a chance before the weekend. I have a lot of catching up to do.
