Getting stronger

So three weeks of yoga classes and I've noticed definite improvement in my hip. I had three straight days of it not hurting over the weekend which hasn't happened since before our trip to Vegas. I even managed to walk to and from the gym yesterday for class without a problem.

The one downside is that even with certain modifications, my left foot - the one I had surgery on in 1/13 - hurts afterward. Like ohmigod where's the ice hurt. I've been wearing my boot to bed the past week or so to keep myself from doing something to it while I sleep, so I wake up with it feeling fine. It's just as the day progresses that it turns into a problem.

Still. Good outweighs the bad by a large margin. The pools have opened again at the gym, and I discovered my neighbor - who is also taking the yoga class with me - takes some of the aqua fit classes I wanted to get back into. So I'm going to start joining her for the Friday morning class.
