Dreamers of the Day - Mithian/Percival - NC17

It's time to share what I wrote for merlinreversebb!

Though there was a lot of great art to choose from, I was immediately drawn to this fantastic piece by viennajones. I have written Percival with a lot of different characters, but it had never occurred to me to try him with Mithian until her work got me to thinking about it. I realized, hey, those two would be great together. Their strong hearts and fighter instincts could challenge each other in great ways. Even better, viennajones's art was already a story. As someone with a film background, I LOVED that I could see it unfolding before my very eyes. All I would have to do would be to try and put the right words to it. I hope I managed to do it justice.

Fic Title: Dreamers of the Day (At AO3)
Author: eurydice72
Characters/Pairings: Mithian/Percival, very minor Gwen/Lancelot
Rating: NC17
Word Count: 25,844
Warnings: Mentions of child/spousal abuse. Percival works in child services and while it doesn't happen to primary characters, they are left dealing with the effects.
Author notes: Thank you to viennajones for reading it through and convincing me it didn't suck!

Summary: Three years ago, Percival left behind London and his friends to try to make a difference in the world. When he comes back for a celebratory get-together, there's a new face among them, a woman who challenges him in ways he hasn't been since moving on.
