Alex got up with his alarm at 5:30, then promptly crashed until 7am. I forced myself to get up at my usual time, but Alicia's BFF we always take into school with us overslept so her mom was taking her in later. I'm sipping my coffee, hoping it works to get me going very soon here.
I'm going to be getting a new computer soon, probably a MacBook Air, which means I'm losing the joystick on my Dell. I can't do touchpads for very long (I discovered 10 years ago when they became the norm that the curling of my hand in that position to use it messed with my nerves big time) so I'm going to start working at my desk with a mouse. Very unlike my usual work methods. I moved my laptop here last night to start, and my wrist was sore this morning from muscles that don't normally get used. It'll be better in the long run, though. I was starting to have real issues with my right thumb from right-clicking. Getting old sucks, let me tell you.
I'm sensing a theme for today.
