Bits and pieces

Craig's father arrives in less than two weeks. It'll be his first visit since the funeral last year, the first time staying with us without my MIL. Craig worries that he'll be bored since most of his time before was spent doing stuff she wanted to do, or taking care of her, but I think we'll be able to keep him busy/distracted enough. Hopefully. I don't know what it'll be like staying in the guest bedroom, though. We have to do a final sweep and make sure there's no more of her stuff in there before he arrives.

But I am not ready for Thanksgiving in the slightest. We haven't even been able to coordinate with the other family we spend it with yet about who is doing what. Fingers crossed we can get that done this weekend. Spare time has been at a premium for the past couple weeks.

I had a dream my SIL was Katniss, and we had to save Josh Hutcherson from drowning. The dangers of conflating her recent good news with all the Catching Fire promo stuff that is going on right now, lol. The pictures of the triangle (Hemsworth, Lawrence, Hutcherson) just keep making me giggle because Hutch is so wee compared to the other two. And I caught an interview snippet with Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson where the interviewer congratulated Liam for his and his brother's movie successes, and Woody did a doubletake because he had never until that moment realized they were related. It could've been an act, but the whole thing that followed seemed genuine enough. Woody just makes me smile.
