A day on the couch

Yesterday was a curl up on the couch with drugs and try not to cry kind of day. Which meant I watched a lot meh TV.

Playing for Keeps - a romcom w/Gerard Butler as a retired soccer player trying to reconnect with his son. Very uneven, but at least I watched the whole thing.
Lost Girl - I made it three episodes before I stopped. The actor who played the cop, Kris Holden-Reid, is sexy as hell, but the female leads annoyed the crap out of me, and since they took up most of the story time, it was too much.
Charade - I love early-to-mid career Cary Grant films, so I thought I'd give this one a go. I lasted half an hour before I decided I was too bored to finish it.

Then came naptime. I felt mildly better when I woke up, so after dinner, the family and I watched the latest GI Joe movie. I probably had the most fun with that one. I love Dwayne Johnson to pieces, and I knew it wasn't supposed to be taken seriously, and besides, it had Lee Byung-hun who is absolutely scrumptious. I could not believe it when I found out he's 43 years old. It's insane.
