I. Am. Tired. And I'm not even the one who had to play softball today. I blame the sunburn.

Today was Alicia's first tournament day, and it actually went really well. They won two of their three games. We went out to Outback for an early dinner when it was over, and we're currently in waiting mode to find out what time things are happening tomorrow, or whether or not they actually will since one of the girls got hurt today in the last game and if she can't play, we won't have enough girls to continue.

I did not put on enough sunscreen. You think I'd learn. :P

My day was made even better by finding out an m/m/f novella I love that I've been trying to find a home for got an offer letter from a publisher I've been wanting to get back to publishing with (I currently only have one story there, and it came out in 2008, so it's been a few years). I was a little worried, I'll be honest. I've been working with safety nets for the past year, only submitting to publishers I have strong editorial relationships with because I didn't want to have to deal with rejections. My previous editor at this particular e-pub left a couple years ago, so I had to specifically request a new editor be assigned to me and then go through the whole submission process. It's scary, no matter how many times I go through it. Luckily, she really liked it. :)

We are being bums for the rest of the day. My preorder of the latest Star Trek movie arrived this week, so we're going to watch both of the reboots tonight. We might have to go to bed early again, though I think we might end up falling asleep on the couch lol.
