I don't know why I'm always surprised by how busy my springtime is, but I am. The next six weeks are going to be crazy. Like tomorrow. Alicia has a doctor's appointment at 8:30, both kids have dental appointments at 1, Alex has practice at 4:30, and then Craig is coming home with a friend from the UK who is staying with us for a few days (and I was only reminded about two days ago), which means getting the house in guest shape before he arrives.

But there are no catastrophes like last year, so I'm not going to complain. Just going to give myself permission not to be very productive until after school gets out in six weeks.

In other news, I had my 12-week weigh-in yesterday. I'm down 18.2 pounds, which I'm taking as a win. Very pleased by the whole progress, actually. That's only a third of the way to where I want to be, but my loss has been steady, even with my haphazard exercise patterns, so yes, it's still a win.
