Today, I had my weigh-in at WW. Seven weeks in, I've lost 12.2 pounds. Considering I spent the first four of these in an orthopedic shoe and quite sedentary, I'm pleased with the progress. Slow and steady is going to win this race. I'm only seven pounds away from the low I hit in '11 before the holidays hit and then everything went to hell with my MIL, which means most of what I gained back is gone. I'll still have weight to lose after that, but I won't know exactly how much until next week. I hit the target today they ask you to hit before determining your final target weight, but we had a substitute leader. I imagine, based on what I know about what the charts think my ideal weight should be, that it's at least 41 more pounds.

But I can do that. I know I can. Even if I haven't weighed that number since I was 15.
