First of all, thank you, cindergal, for the gingerbread man!

I'm sooooooooo glad to see the back of 2012. Too much bad stuff and not enough good in my opinion. I have hopes that 2013 will be much better.

I didn't get as much time to write over the holiday as I liked, instead spending more time with the family. However, my Spuffy story that I started for seasonal_spuffy is the only thing I'm working on, and I really hope that I'll be able to get most of it done before my surgery. I have another 2 chapters done from what I posted on my day, so 4 in total, but I want a few more under my belt before I start putting them up. Maybe even all of them if I can manage it. We'll see.

Tomorrow, we're off into San Francisco to see The Lion King at the Orpheum, one of our gifts for the family this Christmas season. Then it's off for dinner afterward. Craig goes back to work on Thursday, and the kids go back to school next Monday.

Me, I have my bunion surgery in ten days. I can't believe it's come up so fast, but I'm ready for it. Stupid foot is stupid.

As for TV...the Merlin finale left me with all sorts of feelings, most of which make me want to write fic. Sons of Anarchy left me emotionally wasted. The winners for The Voice and X Factor were not my first choices, but weren't surprising, either.

  • Hail, Caesar

I'm a huge Coen Brothers fan, so there was no chance I was going to miss their latest. ESPECIALLY since the trailer showed it was set in the Golden…
