So I've booked sessions with a personal trainer at my gym, starting Wednesday. I'm just doing four, but that's all I think I can manage before my surgery/recovery. I've got very specific goals. It's not just about learning the equipment. I need to strengthen my legs and pelvic girdle, so that the arthritis doesn't beat me. At the same time, it should help with the weight loss. Positive steps forward. That's the goal.

I just wish I hadn't gotten a girl, lol. She's young and gorgeous, and I feel self-conscious enough as it is. I hope I don't feel too judged.
