Thanks to everyone for the condolences. I've been on the phone with Craig for a good part of the morning getting arrangements done. The funeral is on the 16th, and we'll be flying back on the 14th, arriving on the 15th, then back home (minus Craig) on the 19th. That has the kids losing three days of school. Five days and more requires independent study for the kids and I don't want them to have the added stress. Plus, if the kids are too wasted when we get back Sunday night, I can let them stay at home on Monday and still fall under the five day rule the schools have here.

The weekend was rough as expected. We had to go shopping for something appropriate for the service, and I almost lost it in Kohl's. Sleeping sucks.

But...I have my first counseling session today, and I have high hopes for that. Alicia starts her softball tryouts today after school for the school team. Life goes on.
