But I'm ready to be home. I'm ready for my bed (I hate 99% of hotel beds; they're too soft), I'm ready for detoxing from hotel food, I'm ready to be surrounded by my family. I'm returning with 21 more books than I arrived with (gotta love freebies and book signings with more than 300 authors, lol) and oddly juiced from being around so many creative people for a week.
How that will translate into writing time, I have no idea. But hopefully it will.
Craig's mum is still in hospital. No change there. They're waiting to get her seen at Brompton so fingers crossed that happens soon.
Other than that...up early to catch a 10am flight. I'm in SF at 1, head straight to picking up the kids to take them to baseball games that night. Let's see how long I last...
