How is it so close to Christmas already?!? Can I have another week, please? Though...we got 95% of the food shopping done this morning so at least that's done. Alicia is complaining about our meat this year. She really wanted roast duck again, but I wasn't in the mood to fuss with it so we took a vote. Beef won, so now we've got a gorgeous rib roast for the day. All her favorite sides, too, but do you think she'd be glad for it? Noooooo. All I'm hearing is constant whining about how she's tired of beef. So when I decided to be gracious and offered to make it for New Year's Eve, what did she turn around and do? Told me it wasn't the same and not to bother. Seriously, I can't win. Can this phase be over please? I'm so done with it.

I miss fic. :( Hell, at this point, I miss loving what I'm writing. I want to be inspired, but I don't have the time for it right now.

We watched Source Code tonight. I'm not sure if it was my mood, the fact that I had a beer for the last hour, or a weak narrative, but...I didn't get the ending. If anybody cares to offer their opinion on it, I'm more than happy to listen to it.
