Wonderfully productive day. 3k written, loads of laundry done, some prep/cooking done for Thanksgiving, as well as a brief visit from L and the kids to watch Lamia. I will be crashing early, however, as I imagine the next few days will be very long ones for me.

See my new icon? It's one from kathyh's latest batch, and I figured it was apropos for the time. I have too much writing to do and not enough time to do it. The story of my life, really. But honestly, the fic I'm writing now for an anonymous exchange is flowing like water, and I'm a little annoyed I'm not going to get the same opportunities over the next few days to work on it. Isn't that always the way?

I'm really kind of underwhelmed by most of the performances tonight. Only Josh really stood out for me. Even Melanie who I kind of adore fell flat. But two get to go home this week, so the herd shall be culled a little more. I'm not sure who it's going to be. I'm ready for a few of them to go. Not because they're not good, but because I think they clearly don't deserve to win. Like Marcus Canty or Lakoda Rayne. I don't like Astro, either, but I can see the kid is talented. Personally, I'd like to see a final with Josh and Melanie, with Josh winning the whole thing. Who knows how it'll play out.
