First and foremost, our A/C is fixed! Woo hoo! It's been way too hot to deal with that, let me tell you.

Otherwise, been busy, busy, busy. Lots of little things that needed to happen, though it feels like I don't really have a ton to show for it. L and I commiserated today about our hormonal daughters; I swear Alicia says the opposite of me half the time just to piss me off. I know it's an asserting her independence thing, but man, I am so sick and tired of her arguing/disagreeing with me about the stupidest stuff. I hold onto those moments when she's all wonderful and lovey-dovey, because the ones where she's arguing semantics or being obstinate are driving me around the bend. Who thought it was such a fantastic idea to raise an independent child again?!?

On the plus side, she was student of the month for her track in the sixth grade this month (they divide the sixth graders into three different tracks as an adjustment period into middle school). It's hard to get too annoyed with her when everybody is always telling me how they wish all their students were like her.

Merlin premieres on the 1st! I'm chomping at the bit to see what they're going to do. All those lovely knights! And Arthur being kingly! And maybe Morgana will have developed a different evil smirk this season!

And other new TV this week, though I don't get to watch most stuff until much later, it feels like. Craig and I are caught up on Warehouse 13 through last week, and believe it or not, I still have the last two episodes of Leverage to watch yet. Modern Family started 15 minutes ago, however, and now I'm off to have some family with mine since this is one show we all love and can watch together. :)

ETA: Or maybe not. Went downstairs to discover that the Comcast box had frozen. Craig had to reboot the stupid thing and now it's not loading any of the TV guide or stuff from the DVR. Is everything in this house going to break this week?!?
