LJ is still being funky. Boo! I'm reluctant to post fic until it sorts itself out. Which it better soon because my withdrawal is making me very cranky.

Lots of little stuff done today. I made a necklace for the next lesson and discovered I don't have the proper pliers to learn what it was trying to teach me. So I've now ordered those and just made a simple necklace with turquoise peace signs and accentuating brown and darker blue beads, with turquoise spacers instead. As much fun as I'm having, I really want to get these basics mastered so I can go on to learning mail work. I see things like this shrug, and I drool. Or this piece. Not to mention all the jewelry I can do. *sigh*

More visiting with my friend and her new baby, who I've decided is my second daughter. Thankfully, my friend has no problem with me spoiling her. Tomorrow we go to the middle school to pick up the girls' schedules. I can't believe Alicia will be in middle school this year. She's growing up so fast.

I think I'm getting tickets for us for the Grand National in SF in October. The kids love rodeos, and, well, I love cowboys, lol. I'm considering it research and inspiration. :D

Fingers crossed things are better with LJ tomorrow!
