A positive step

When all the prop 8 crap was going on here in California, I was highly invested in the outcome. I stayed up the night of voting to watch the returns, because even into the wee hours, it was so damn close. I was devastated when the marriage laws got overturned. Angry. Well, furious is a better word for it, because I saw firsthand the misinformation that was getting passed around to people gullible not to look at the actual facts.

So today is a good day because just a little while ago, a federal judge refused to throw out Judge Walker's decision. The case is still under appeal, but this is a positive step forward for all those people who should have the right to marry whoever they damn well want to.
