It's been a busy couple of days.

The results of Saturday's games? Alex's team, the definite underdog, won their division league championship, 13-11. The team now goes on to play league champions (same division) of neighboring cities, but unfortunately, the first game is while we're away. I don't know if there's more after the first game. I imagine there are if they win.

On the other hand, Alicia's team, the favorite, lost. :( Too many girls had an off day, and honestly, the other team played better (even if they weren't the better overall team). Alicia went out on a high as she had some fantastic fielding and creamed the ball on her last at bat, but the season is all over for them.

A week of using Lose It to manage calories, and I'm down four pounds. *Very* excited about that. I could pull on a pair of my favorite pants that I haven't been able to wear for ages.

Have an appointment to get my hair cut and the color touched up this afternoon, just in time for it to settle a little before we leave on Saturday. We'll go shopping later this week for Alicia's dress for the wedding. She's not looking forward to it. I must have the only 11 y/o daughter who argues against buying new clothes. KMM has been rough the past few days as I work through a real angsty section of it. I get too invested in my characters. My hero is breaking my heart. I guess it's a good thing I have a h/c card to fill up when I'm done, lol.
