So I seem to be succumbing to whatever chesty thing my MIL has and my daughter has just caught. I'm not congested in my head, but my chest is tight and my throat is sore. Kind of ironic since I was just thinking yesterday that those flu shots we got this year really seemed to be doing the trick about keeping illness at bay in general, lol.

pepperlandgirl4 and I finished the last JC Zodiac book yesterday and got it submitted. We have one more commitment to do - the last Silver book, which is guaranteed to be late since it's due at the end of this month, lol - but then we can write whatever the hell we want to. It's so damn liberating. I probably wouldn't feel as excited as I am if I haven't been trying to get into some fic writing the past couple weeks. But with all the real life stuff, and then that commitment to get out of the way, it's just been too hard.

Monday, friends are coming over for a baking day. BUT better than that is we're going to have a Merlin watch in the afternoon. They're the ones I hooked on the show, but they rely on me for getting current episodes to them. They haven't had the time/chance to watch the last three eps of S3, so that's what we're going to do Monday afternoon. Considering how strong the season ended, I'm really excited about sharing it. Plus, I haven't had the chance to watch it on the TV yet, just my laptop. Bigger will be better in this case.

Other than's rainy and dreary here in the Bay Area. We're all taking it relatively easy today. I plan on watching Christmas movies and writing fic. :D
