Bits and bobs

I am finally coming out on the other side of this cold. Woo hoo! Just in time for a long weekend. Well, kind of. Craig got Thursday and Friday off, so *he* has a five-day weekend. I still have my usual schedule, and since Friday is me going to the DMV without an appointment (the soonest I could get was in October, and I can't wait that long), that day definitely doesn't count as relaxing.

Work is progressing nicely on the back. Craig took pictures yesterday, but I don't have them yet, so I'll do a full update on that probably tomorrow. We're going plant/tree shopping tomorrow, too, so I'll be able to include everything. At this point, we're waiting on the permits/inspection on the new gas and electric lines the guys have installed before any of the concrete can get poured. Considering it's a holiday weekend, I'm not holding my breath it'll be before next week some time. Still, it's all coming together. It's so good to know it'll be done eventually.

What else? Hmmm...I'm pissed about Tiffany going home. Pissed. She deserved to be in the top three a hell of a lot more than Kevin or Kelly. Maybe this was a weak night for her, but damn, that girl has been more consistent than anybody else. She's won a freaking boatload of challenges. She was totally cheated out of Singapore, in my opinion.
