Life goes on

Today, we take Alex back to the lung specialist to follow-up on all the tests he's had done and how the meds are working. His pediatrician took him off the Singulair, saying it wasn't necessary with the Flovent inhaler, and he doesn't seem to be having any ill side effects. His lung function tests had excellent results, too, and since that was done after he'd been off the Singulair for a bit, I don't see him going back on. I don't imagine we'll get any kind of bad news, though I'm not sure we can get any kind of definitive answers. Then again, we haven't seen the xrays, so those might show something we're not aware of.

I didn't end up finishing my book yesterday, though I did end up writing over 4k on the last chapter. I got up this morning and wrote out the last 800 words, and voila! All done. Finally, lol. I can't turn it in without a read-through first, though. I can't say I'm looking forward to that.

I feel like I need a treat. That wouldn't be bad, would it?
