So here it is, nearly 10pm, and I'm in the mood to go shopping. I don't know why. Probably because Craig brought up the budget today, and how much we spent on our vacation, and I'm feeling contrary and want to go buy stuff. I'm like that. I certainly don't need anything (though new dishes would be nice), but the urge to fill my life with something new and shiny grows. Let's see if I can resist tonight, shall we?

It was a nice, simple day, otherwise. Alicia's BFF from our old town is spending the weekend, so we opted to go to a matinee today. Since the BFF had already seen Despicable Me (our first choice), we ended up going to see The Sorcerer's Apprentice. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, though it's certainly not anything I'll bother watching again. Craig couldn't get past Jay Baruchel's voice. He said he sat through the whole movie wishing we were watching How to Train Your Dragon instead (since Baruchel did Hiccup's VO for that). Nicolas Cage ate his usual scenery, Alfred Molina got to play another bad guy, and the blonde chick who played the love interest was completely personality-less. Then it was out to Red Lobster for an early dinner, and a stop by the grocery store on the way home for B&J for dessert. See? Not too complicated. :)

Still feel like buying something, though...
