Thanks to everyone who has voted on the poll so far. I'm leaving it up until Friday and whatever gets the most votes, counting what readers may send in to me via e-mail (as I've put a notice up on my site and in the update e-mail), will get posted with the new chapter on Friday.
Tonight's date night with hubby. He's been extra good to me recently, so I'm looking forward to the opportunity where we can just be together and I can show him without having to stop every 2 seconds because of children, just how much he means to me. We're going into London on Friday to see a play and see i_digress_uk but sitting in the darkness isn't quite the same as being one-to-one facing each other across a dinner table. I love my kids, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I really miss the days when it was just the two of us.
Yesterday ended up not being as nearly as productive as I'd hoped as some time around lunch, someone swapped my lovely children out for two little monsters who spent most of the day screaming at each other. As soon as Craig got off his phone call at 7pm, I was out the door and in the garage on the treadmill, working out the tension in my body from refereeing all day. I got a portable CD player for Christmas, so I'm now listening to my Storm Front CD's while I'm on the treadmill. And for as hard as I pushed myself last night (and felt it when I came back inside), I'm surprisingly not that sore today. Score bonus points for me. :)
S5 of Angel starts here in the UK next week and I have to admit to being psyched about that. Although I've already seen what's aired so far in the US (via dl-ing and angstchic's tapes), it'll be wonderful to see it full-size in perfect clarity. That's one thing I'll definitely miss about the UK (and wow, is that superficial). Picture quality on televisions is far superior to that in the US, due to the higher resolution. And the fewer commercials is better as well. I'd forgotten just how many ads run during shows in the US until I went back there last fall.
Well, off to face the rest of my day. My afternoon is going to be busy with eBay stuff. I'd promised Craig that I'd start getting rid of the outgrown kids' clothes after the New Year, and the first round ends in an hour. So far, I've got over £160 pounds on the items that are listed, and I still have 5 bags of clothes to go through. This is the only time my shopping compulsion ever pays off, I think. :)
