First day home. Which meant catching up. Craig exhibited his usual mail fear, though this time, rather than stacking everything in a pile for me to open when I got home, he tried something new.

I found a *very* small stack of mail to sort, and did so, commenting, "Did you even check the mail while I was gone?"

His response, "I checked it Tuesday, Wednesday..." Then silence.

So I laughed and said what about Thursday, Friday, and Saturday?

Nope. No dice. So I went out and emptied the box. There is no way anymore could have been stuffed in it. Then, when I came back inside, found a different stack on the coffee table in the living room. The mail that got brought in on Tuesday that everybody apparently forgot about. And this morning, I found yet another pile on an end table, the mail I had brought in on Monday and hadn't had a chance to get to in light of packing and everything.

I'm not sure what Craig's aversion to mail is. I sincerely doubt I'll be able to break him of it before I have to leave for the next convention at the end of the month, lol.
