Listy mode

I'm in listy mode.

1. Had another family night tonight when I got antsy for wanting to go out. We went to dinner and then saw Percy Jackson, which frankly I thought was kind of meh. Then Rocky Mountain again, and Starbucks on the way home. I am now curled up on the couch while Craig waits for his buddy to get online so they can shoot things in Call of Duty 4.

2. Went out to lunch with Craig today when I decided I wanted sushi for lunch (are you sensing a trend here, lol?). We tried a place close to us, and ohmigod, best sushi I've ever had. The sashimi just melted in my mouth. We think we want to make this a Friday ritual.

3. Pepper and I got a couple rejections yesterday, on the same manuscript. One doesn't bother me because I knew it wasn't right for the pub (not nearly enough sex that they require), while the other gave us a long, wonderful email about what she liked and didn't like, and encouraged us to address those issues and resubmit it directly to her. The thing is, she's right, and we have enough distance from the story now to say that. So first thing Monday, we're tackling those - because honestly, they're not all that major - and resubmitting. Knowing their standards and seeing how thorough they are only make me want to publish with them more.

4. mydeira had a new release this week, a menage called Last Thought, and Pepper and I are giving a copy away over at our Jamie Craig LJ. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on the post. Check it out!
