More tids and bits

Didn't end up watching Basterds last night after all. Pepper and I are on the crunch trying to get a project done, and I couldn't risk not being focused, so Craig put on The Invention of Lying instead. Which, for as much as I love Ricky Gervais, was really not that funny. Probably the funniest part was seeing all the cameos. And Jennifer Garner's face really kind of bugs me.

What that means for today is that I'm in busy multi-tasking mode. Craig has taken the kids out geocaching, leaving me here to get Sunday dinner on. We've definitely gotten into the habit of doing a Sunday roast. It's nice having the leftover meat during the week, especially now that we've got practices 5 days a week. Sides tend to stay the same - smashed roast potatoes, roast parsnips, brussels (today they're getting roasted, too), a third veg depending on what I have in the house - and we rotate meats. Today, it's lamb. I'm also trying a mocha angel food cake dessert. Weight Watchers, of course. If that turns out, I'll post the recipe tomorrow.

I am just about halfway through with the recoding on the Spuffy stories for the new layout. I've also resumed watching BtVS, starting where I had left off on my rewatch a couple years ago (ouch, has it really been that long?!?). We got a DVD/TV set up in front of the elliptical, and since I'm on that machine every other day now, I'm watching the episodes then. I can't believe how much I've forgotten. And you know what else I've decided? For as weak as S4 is, SMG looks fantastic in it. It's before she got so thin S5 onward, and regardless of her endless search for a hairstyle, she's just radiant.
