Not a good day. A day of stress. A day of almost misses (Lucy got out of the back yard while we were out, and we were lucky that somebody found her just before we got home), added schedules (Alicia's first meeting for softball, which has practices starting day after tomorrow), and too much work to get done. I'm finding myself short-tempered with the kids, and I hate that. I'm finding myself angry at myself, because of things I should have done and haven't, and I hate that even more.

I'm in an angry place at the moment, obviously.

Craig just left to take Alicia cleats shopping. He's coming home with Cold Stone for me because he's going to make pancakes for him and the kids, pancakes I don't like. He's a good husband. Tolerant. Sometimes I think he deserves better than me. Always I think the luckiest thing that ever happened to me was finding him.

Focus on the positive. The weather is beautiful at the moment. Winter jackets are gone, and the skies were gorgeous and clear today. Alicia's softball season is much shorter than the one we had at our old house, which means my stress levels will ease up sooner. American Idol is on tonight. Pepper and I are working on a story I really like.

And LJ friends who listen to me bitch about my bad mood, lol.
