So I had a weekend mostly to myself. Craig took the kids and the inlaws to Monterey for whale watching and the aquarium. They had a great time, and I got to finish my WIP that was due today. Pepper and I are taking a tiny break while I regroup, and then moving on to a lighter project. The book we finished today is book 10 of our vampire bdsm menage series, and it was a little tough emotionally. There's one more novella we're going to write later this year, but essentially, the series is done. We'll be leaving the characters behind. Considering how much they've been a part of our lives for the past 2 years, it's hard.

But I'm calling an end to this weekend and hoping for a fresh start tomorrow. I definitely need one.
