My surprise for the day

So we went out this afternoon, and had to fill up the minivan on the way home. Gas is down to around $1.80 around here right now, but Craig reminded me that Safeway's special is running out at the end of the year. For those who don't know, Safeway has been doing this gas rewards program where you got $.10 off per gallon if you spent $100. So with gas $1.83 at Safeway now, we figured $1.73 a gallon was good.

Craig started pumping. Then he came back to the window that said I've apparently accrued enough credit to get $2.10 off a gallon.

We got 19 gallons of gas for free. Not too bad. :)
