Kristy Lee Cook – She’s got a nice voice, but there was no fire in this. It felt very pageant performance. Oh, she’s sick. Maybe that’s why it was boring.
Joanne Borgella – There were notes all over the place in this, wasn’t there? And her lower register isn’t very strong at all.
Alaina Whitaker – She had more energy than the first two, but her voice seemed a little sharp to me.
Amanda Overmyer – I love this girl’s style and I think she’s got a career ahead of her, though maybe not as a solo artist. For some reason I see her fronting a band. I’m trying to imagine her doing the various theme weeks for the top 12 and I don’t know what to think at all, lol. And the coolest jeans! But I like her.
Amy Davis – There were some really scary notes in this performance. Scary.
Brooke White – I really liked the beginning, but when it broke into the chorus, her nerves got a hold of her. Kinda boring.
Alexandrea Lushington – I really like this girl. There was a rough patch in the middle of the song and I hate her high notes, but I think if she sorts out who she is, she has real potential.
Kady Malloy – It wasn’t until they showed her audition that I remembered how much I loved her. And I love the tone of her voice. But I think Simon was right about her being a little boring tonight.
Asia’h Epperson – I like this girl, but I don’t know if I liked her song choice tonight. She felt a lot older to me today.
Ramiele Malubay – I LOVE this girl. I was a little surprised she chose a Dusty Springfield song, but she gave me goosebumps, especially at the end.
Syesha Mercado – So much style, and she knows how to perform a song. A stronger vocal than some others, especially that powerhouse last note, though not my favorite.
Carly Smithson – First off, she picked a song I absolutely love to pieces. Secondly, she’s got the most polished, gorgeous voice
FAVORITE TWO - Ramiele Malubay and Carly Smithson
LEAST FAVORITES - Amy Davis and Kristy Lee Cook
Who do I think is going home? Hm. Amy and ...I'm not sure. Maybe Joanne.
If I had to pick my top 6 tonight, in this order:
Ramiele Malubay
Carly Smithson
Amanda Overmyer
Syesha Mercado
Alexandrea Lushington
Asia'h Epperson
