We've seen the new cover art for Chasing Silver. It's not up on Amazon and they haven't sent us a copy, but it's up on the Juno blog. They didn't change the basic concept. All they did was lighten it up and change and move the text around. But this makes us so excited. Chasing Silver comes out in just a couple weeks! We'll be able to go into bookstores and buy a copy in the fantasy section! You have no idea how much pepperlandgirl4 and I are bouncing about this, lol.

So when I went to see if the new cover art was up at Amazon yet, I discovered something else. They have the pre-order page up for Touching Silver, the sequel to Chasing Silver that's due out on June 20, 2008. No art as of yet, but the blurb is there for all to see. Reading the blurb makes me miss these characters so, so, SO much. Pepper arrives the beginning of December for an intense week of writing where we tackle doing book 3. I have to sit and re-read 1 and 2 to get into that mode, and find Remy's voice again since book 3 is back to her and Nathan. And relearn all that futuristic slang, lol.

So in spite of my malaise last night, there are still good things for me to look forward to. At least my Buffyverse muse is on hiatus for a very good reason. That's the way I have to look at it, at least.
