Well, I had my doctor appointments yesterday. First with my primary care physician, and then 2 hours later, with the specialist he referred me to. My surgery is scheduled for Thursday, August 2, and provided they do the laporoscopy (there's always a chance that something develops that prevents them from doing it), I'll be going home that same day. That's very good news. Even better is knowing I'll never have to worry about that kind of pain again.

I'm tempted to take another picture of my eyes to show people. Subconjunctival hemorrhaging can take 1-3 weeks to clear up, and there is currently no whites visible in my eyes. However, the red is clearer because it's healing (albeit slowly), and the color is even more vibrant. So vibrant in fact, that when I took my sunglasses off in front of the surgeon yesterday, he did a double take. I haven't yet decided if it's a good or bad thing when your doctor does a double take in front of you, lol.
