Long story short, I've spent the last two days hooked up to IV's, getting xrays and ultrasounds done, and going through extensive blood work. I escaped the ERCP (where they stick a tube down your throat to look for stones in your digestive system, I gather) and am hopping straight to getting my gall bladder out. I've decided that what I thought was food poisoning back in May was another attack, just not as severe, since it went away on its own after a day. But I am not going through another of these. Seriously, that pain was the worst thing I have ever felt, and I will do whatever it takes to not have it again.
HUGE THANK YOUS to everyone who sent their well wishes and called. Pepper read me all the messages she got when she called, and they did WONDERS to boost my morale. I'm truly blessed to have friends like you guys. *massive hugs*
