I haven't posted in a few days. I'm feeling a sense of disconnect with everything, which I'm sure is a reaction to my grandmother's death. I've done what I have to, updating WFA and LLGA, but beyond that, it's been a matter of throwing myself into everyday stuff. Alicia had a sleepover last night, and today is Alex's tball end of season ceremony. Little things. The minutiae of our lives. That's what's keeping me focused at the moment.

I've been doing a little bit of writing, though not quite as prolific as I have been. I'm working on a shapeshifter story for Linden Bay for a Halloween release, and pepperlandgirl4 and I are slowly but surely working through our novellas that we committed to. We just submitted our shapeshifter hurt/comfort threesome book to Samhain, but the last time we subbed to them, it took 6 weeks to get a response. I'm not anticipating hearing back any time soon. We also just finished a 3some novella for Amber Quill called "A Little Bit Bewitched," and last night we started a new vampire novella called "Runaway Red." I spent last night updating our Jamie Craig website with most of our new news and upcoming releases. There are a few things missing from that list, including a gay contemporary romance called "Brindisi Bedfellows" that we just contracted with Liquid Silver, and "Touching Silver," the sequel to "Chasing Silver," but I'm going to be updating the website every Friday so expect to see that in the weeks to come.

What else...nothing much. There's nothing on TV that's interesting me these days since the season's over (unless you count Logan and Lulu on General Hospital, and I'm pretty sure most of you don't, lol). I had started reading "My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding" for our flights out to Michigan, but so far, I'm not hugely impressed. I'm about halfway through, and most of it has been pretty ho hum so far, including - I hate to say it - Jim Butcher's Dresden contribution. Oh well. At least they're short stories. I don't have to commit to reading for long periods of time I don't have anyway.

Hope everybody is having a good weekend. :)
