Old dogs, new tricks

OK, I *love* my guitar teacher. He's so cool. He started in reviewing some basic music stuff I already knew from playing piano and flute ages and ages ago, and once I flew through his quizzing on individual notes and strings and stuff, we got straight into scales and power chords. I wasn't doing so hot with those, but he was amazingly supportive and helpful with tips and everything, and I'm sure with practice this week, I'll have those down. That's my plan at least. I'm going to make knowing where all the notes are and transitioning between the three chords we spent the most time on (which supposedly will help me with "Wild Thing," lol) my goal for next week. Practice, practice, practice!

I have a small request. Do you remember me posting the picture of my guitar? I don't suppose somebody would want to make me an icon of it, would they? Otherwise, I'm going to keep using the CK guitar icon pepperlandgirl4 was wonderful to make for me, which really doesn't bother me in the slightest because I love it, but it would be nice to change it up every once in a while when I talk about the new girl in my life. Her name's Delilah, by the way. :)
