Last October/November, I wrote a werewolf novel called "Under a Rogue Moon." It's my usual fare---erotic thriller---and I finished in time to show it to the publisher running the short story competition I entered (Liquid Silver Books). When I got the e-mail saying I didn't win but they really loved the story and would welcome a regular submission, I pitched Rogue. They asked for the manuscript, and I stopped thinking about it (OK, well, kind of. I kept thinking about it, but stopped doing anything active regarding it.). It was the beginning of December, so I figured the holidays would be a busy time for them.
Today, I got an e-mail from Raven at Liquid Silver offering me a contract for it! Squee!!!!
So, needless to say, feeling very happy here. Feeling very much that I'm not wasting my time in this business. Now I just get to sit through the whole contract and editorial process, lol.
