Coming back from the dead

Except for my fic updates, I haven't posted since Christmas. There's a reason for that. The cold I caught moved into my ears and knocked me on my ass, and until 2 days ago, it was taking every last ounce of strength I had just to continue on with my daily stuff. Random LJ posts just weren't important enough, in light of the holidays and all the end of year stuff I had to accomplish.

But I'm feeling better now, and slowly but surely starting to get caught up on stuff. I'm going to respond to all the feedback from the latest Echoes chapter tonight, and I've got a box full of e-mails to answer as well. Alicia is off this week from school, so it's harder to get stuff done during the day. But it'll happen. Eventually. Craig leaves for North Carolina and then India next week, and doesn't return until the beginning of February. It's a mixed blessing. I'm going to miss him dreadfully, but my nights will be distraction-free so that I can get writing done. I have a handful of Flunkies chapter yet to write, and my Winter of Wes contributions. Then there's that pesky Echoes conclusion (can you believe we're only 3 chapters away from the end?) as well as my original novel. I just have to stay away from my Christmas present that is sucking away time. I got The Movies for the PC and am having far too much fun with it. The past two nights have disappeared before I even realized they were going. ;)

But that's where I've been and where I'll be. I'm so far behind on LJ that there is no hope of my catching up, so my apologies if I've missed something important. I do love all of you; there's just not enough hours in my day. :)
