Poor Alex is just not having a good day.

This morning at nursery, he took a header off one of the chairs and hit the table on the way down, ending up with a knot the size of a golf ball on his forehead. This thing is raised nearly a 1/4", the poor guy. But other than a little bruising and the red line that's still slightly visible from the table edge, he's fine.

Well, we got into the hot tub after dinner. I was the first one out, and went into our bedroom to dry off. Our bedroom overlooks the back deck, right in front of the hot tub, so it's the entrance we use when we finish. Our only other option is the screen door that leads into the dining room, but that has lino and we learned the hard way that it's just way too easy to wipe out on a slick floor there.

So, I'm inside drying off. Craig calls out that Alex is done and coming in, and I turn around just in time to see him *running* from the hot tub toward the door.

The *closed* screen door.

He hit it full force, mostly with his face. Needless to say he wasn't a happy camper. :(
