DAY TWO
I stumbled onto fanfic while I was waiting for S6 to start. I came into Buffy late - the first episode I saw was "The Gift" - and then devoured all there was to see via reruns on Sky One and videos. And I *still* had to wait 4 months for S6 to start in the UK. I got online primarily because I was curious about spoilers from the US and the rest is pretty much history. Since Spike, and the potential for Spuffy, was my primary driving force at the time, it took very little time to discover fanfic. One of the first authors that completely blew me out of the water was
I didn't even know people had their own websites for this. I was reading everything at ffnet because I didn't know better, and I stumbled across a story called "Future Imperfect." I devoured it. I cried. I shouted, "No!" at my computer screen at a plot twist in the last chapter, and then sighed happily at the end. I then proceeded to go read everything of hers that I could find.
