Fic stuff

Well, I'm still in catch-up mode from the end of Frost, but I'm hoping to get through the bulk of what remains some time today. I've been slightly incommunicado the past couple days because of the blurbs that were due yesterday (all done, woo hoo!), and because I posted my entry at the watchersdiaries yesterday. For those who are really bored and desperate for something to read, feel free to go take a look at it. It's called "The Artist" and is the story of a Slayer called in Paris in the early twenties. Well, it's almost more about her Watcher, but you get the idea. :) While you're there, take a look at the other entries. There's been some really good stuff written for this so far. :)

And now on to the real purpose of this post.

With the end of Frost, I've been getting *a lot* of requests, queries, and the like about what I'm doing next. I've evaluated my commitments, and I've decided that I *won't* be starting anything new for Spuffy for a couple months most likely. I have too much other stuff taking my time right now, including my weekly updates for Echoes, my novel (which I promised I would work on, regardless of other fic stuff), and another original story I've committed to writing. That's not taking into consideration my blurb assignments when they come in. So, really, I just don't have the time to commit to a new story that it would deserve. I've even had to bow out of the Spuffy Kinkathon. With Frost out of the way, though, I think that it's likely to be the end of April before I can even consider starting something new, so in the meantime, you'll have to settle for Echoes. :)

When I finished Frost, I had no plans on there being a sequel at all. The most I'd considered were small vignettes showing their new lives together. I'm beginning to reconsider that. I'm not saying there *will* be a sequel, but odds are certainly looking better. Little bunnies keep nibbling me, surprise surprise. So that's the status of that.

Now I'm off to cook breakfast for the family. A relaxing day ahead at last. :)
