Day 6: What band or musician is most important to you?
I'm going to flake out on this question, mostly because I don't have one. I like a lot of music, but I can honestly say that I could go days without listening to something. If I didn't have CDs in my car, I'd only ever hear bands/musicians on TV reality programs. It's just not something that's important to me.
So, I'm going to talk about my day instead. Alex has a pretty bad cold, while Alicia is catching it. Alicia hasn't had a chance to stop in the past couple days. She's had softball games the past two days, and then got back barely in time for an evening concert at the high school. On the plus side, she had a home run in yesterday's game, and today's went even better, but I wish she could get some rest. I don't think I'm getting it yet, but I've been pretty miserable the past couple days anyway. My hip hasn't been good all week, which leads to random falls when my leg goes out on me, and my knees have been achy since yesterday morning. I'm blaming the long workouts, so it was probably a good thing I couldn't get to the gym the past two days. On top of that, my face is throbbing because stupid allergies have started up again. I'm taking both my Allegra and Flonase, but it takes time to build up in my system. It's the only thing I hate about where we live. I never had allergies before we moved here in 2009. It's the perfect storm of winds/proximity to the desert. Apparently, a lot of people have allergies here that don't get them anywhere else. I know I don't have to take my meds if I go anywhere.
Craig is currently stuck in Seattle because the storms in the Bay Area have totally messed up all the flights. He was supposed to get in around 11, but everything's been delayed. I'm in limbo right now, waiting to hear back from him about whether or not he'll make it tonight.
Is anyone going to admit they watched Damien this week? I did...( Collapse )
