You know, I knew I had a smart daughter. She gets kudos in a lot of areas. I'm proud of her beyond belief.
This morning she tells me in the car on the way to school that she hopes Massachusetts is nice because she's decided she wants to go to Harvard. Apparently, she's been doing researching online for the past several months about which colleges in the country have the discipline she's looking to study. So why does she want to attend Harvard?
Because of its astrophysics department.
She's *eleven*. She's too young for this.
I gave her the usual, "Well, that's a great idea, but you don't have to worry about that for a few years yet," but she still took me off-guard.
